Elegant. Clean. Simple. Beautiful. All words used to describe this type-based logo with a subtle nod to the waxing process (the negative space representing a removed wax strip).
Redefining the Brand
The Wax Loft team came to MONTE looking to modernize their website with a "New York loft" inspired design. We were quick to point out that their logo didn't embody the new brand direction they were striving to achieve. Lauren created the type-based logo during the website design process—a simple, yet very effective update that embodies the exceptional service provided by the estheticians in their modern and clean spaces.
In the web world, design and functionality are always changing. The old website was not only lacking in design, but it failed to support social integration for their active following on Facebook and Instagram. In addition, the web pages were too long, missing photos, and tedious to edit. It was time to shave down the editing time and elevate their style.
We started off the process by cutting down the structure into a more manageable size, while selecting elegant photos that align with the brand. The messaging was simplified, while keeping the phone number and hours easily accessible to regular site visitors. Customers visiting the site commented: “Love how easy it is to navigate on my phone” and “It’s beautiful!”
