About the Book
Destination Unstoppable is the title of a book that tells the story of Maureen Monte using a strengths-based approach to help a high school hockey team win the state championship. After Maureen worked with the team, they had 0.909 win rate, outscored the competition 67 to 16 goals over 11 games, and shut out the competition in the semi-finals (8-0) and the state championship (4-0). They became unstoppable. Learn more about the book here.
Team Effort
What part did we play in this great triumph? The game plan was to design the book cover... and that morphed into renaming the book, rebranding Maureen, designing the book cover, creating a promotional video, and redesigning her website. Oh, and we designed new business cards that were printed on thick plastic--a winner for sure.

“History is littered with gifted individuals and teams that failed to reach their full potential. You must invest in a player’s strengths and the strengths of the collective to build a championship team. This book will teach you to discover the untapped talent on your team, and harness it to reach your Destination Unstoppable”

Branding
While discussing the book and Maureen's vision for her business, we together came to the conclusion that a brand refresh was needed. With her new focus on team sports, we chose a simple, modern, and timeless type that conveys both strength and flexibility.

Fresh Perspective
While we learn something new from each of our clients, it is rare that they have the ability to change our view or way of thinking. It is clear that Maureen's ability to listen intently and ask incisive questions is crucial in her ability to turn entire businesses, and teams, around.
That Good
Part of the book cover design process was reviewing the amazing reviews and determining which should be featured on the cover. This particular review packed a tremendous amount of power into a single sentence. Movie rights... hm, Matt does have a theatre background.
